Missionary UFC Fight Club...

Hi there! My week was pretty good for the most part! Yesterday my companion and I were both walking and and we talked to these crazy people I mean they were insane but really cool! One of them is an ex member and got excommunicated and  he drinks and smokes a lot and he told my companion and I that he would drive us (as he was drinking a bunch of alcohol in front of us) but saying that he doesn't drink and drive but he will drive us to get to our appointment! LOL So that was pretty interesting he is a very nice guy and he said that he will go to Church this Sunday but we will see! So on Saturday my companion and some other missionaries went to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch a UFC fight and so that was fun!  We saw some pretty crazy fights and now my whole district wants to have a missionary UFC fight club! LOL  It sounds like that would be so fun! LOL  My companion and I are getting along great and he ended up talking me into buying protein powder because we work out everyday at the Y.  So  that is fun and right now I'm loving Casper and the missionaries that I am serving with!  Well hope all is well love you!

The Line Drive...

Hi and good morning!  So my whole district and me got fades and lines going through our hair we call ourselves line drive lol! My week was okay! My Fourth of July was pretty good as we went to a members house to watch fireworks and we were there tell like 11pm or 1130pm!  The dad of the family told us a lot of stories so we got home pretty late lol! It was such a fun night they already like me they told me that they want their son to talk to me because he is struggling and I would talk to them trying to help them with their problems and hopefully they will be more active in the Church! So pretty much my whole mission has been working with less actives and part member families and that's what the ward wants us to focus on! We had interviews with our mission President and that's never fun I always get nervous talking to him because he has really bad anger management! The Y is awesome as my companion and I are focusing on getting big so I might stop running just so I don't lose muscle! This week we don't have much we have 2 appointments with some less actives but that's about it! I'm thankful that I have a good companion it's been a really fun transfer with him and it's gone by fast since we became companions! I hope you guys are doing great one more month and I will be out for a year we'll take care love you!

Love Casper, Wyoming!

My Companion

Hey! I love it here in Casper, Wyoming! It is amazing! I would not mind living here! My companion is so cool and not a stickler like my last companion! My companion is going home in 9 weeks it's crazy so it's most likely that we will be companions until he goes home! The members are a lot better in Casper and one of the members in my ward owns Little Caesars so missionaries get free Little Caesars! So don't worry about me not getting fed! So we share a car so Friday, Saturday, and Sunday we get a car so my companion and I have done a lot of walking! We also have gym memberships and only have to pay $4 month so it's nice and it's at the YMCA! So we started on Friday and I ran 5 miles on that day and it was fun! We don't need anything I might be getting a bike for free we will see! My place is awesome we literally live in a Shack and it's in a alley near a liquor store so it's a little sketchy but I like it! I haven't took too many pics yet I will send you one with me and my companion soon! So I got an email from this person in Kimball, Nebraska and she is less active and me and my companion got her to come back to Church! We also taught her 6 year old son and she told me that I really impacted her son and she said that she told him that we both left and he said that he wasn't going to back to Church because we left so I had some success in Kimball but we really effected that little boy! We'll take care love you!

Transferring to Casper, Wyoming!

Hey so me and my companion and I are both getting transferred he is going to Cheyenne, Wyoming and I am going to Casper, Wyoming!  Which is like 4 hours away from Kimball,Nebraska! I'm so happy that I' am leaving and getting a new companion! My new companion was actually one of the people I was hoping to be companions with and his name is Elder Olsen and I served in his district when I was in Loveland.  He helped me out a lot so I'm excited and can't wait to be his companion and I leave tomorrow! So it was a little better on Saturday as we helped these members who live an hour and a half from us who are in our ward move out of their house and one of the bishopric members was their and lets just say my companion got his butt chewed by him! But anyways, I mean Kimball was a tough area to serve in and not a whole lot to do but I was talking to this less active who said that she is going to miss me and my companion and sad that we are leaving because we brought her and her son back to church and got her to quit smoking.  So I mean I had some success here but not a whole lot! I also talked to this lady who we are actually having dinner with tonight, she told me when I bore my testimony talking about my decision to serve a mission, she told me that her eighteen year old son is now thinking about serving a mission all because I bore my testimony on fast Sunday!   So hopefully he will still want to go!  I think that this transfer will put me in a better mood that I have been lately.  So I'm excited and I'm doing better!  Hope you guys are doing great love you!

Transfers next Tuesday...

How are you doing?  Ha ha see my sunburn?! So this week was okay, nothing exciting really happened transfers are next Tuesday and we find out if we are leaving or staying Saturday night and I hope that either I leave or my companion leaves.  He just drives me crazy and tries to fight with everyone and I can't stand it so hopefully I get a new companion! It's crazy that I have almost been out for almost a year! Porter hit his year mark last week! Time goes by so fast it is crazy! Well take care love you!

Patience...

Hey! I'm doing alright.  This area has really strengthened my patience a lot, my companion is pretty hard to be with just because he yells at the bishopric. So I'm sure they don't like us.  This is a
tough area and I really don't want to be here for another transfer! My finger is doing good and is healing pretty fast.  My iPad hasn't been able to get fixed yet but hopefully soon they are charging me $150 to fix it but it will take them 8 days and it's in Cheyenne so idk when I will be able to
get it fixed.  It might be after this transfer as there is not an iPad repair place in Sidney or Kimball so that stinks! Well hope you guys are doing well love you take care!

Cutting a jalapeno/thumb with a steak knife...

Hey! So my week started good until Saturday as I was trying to cut a jalapeño and I sliced my thumb with a stake knife! That wasn't fun but my companion bandaged me up! I didn't need stitches and on top of that my IPad already cracked and I will be getting it repaired on Thursday when we go to Cheyenne for zone meeting! I don't have to pay to get it fixed because I have a warranty on it till next year so I'm thankful for that! I guess we learn from our mistakes and hope that we have better days! Saturday was probably the worst day I have had in the mission by far, we all struggle and I just got to keep my head up. I will send some pics and that is awesome that you guys are going to
Hawaii I'm so jealous! I'm doing better now I wasn't on Saturday that was a tough day! I miss you!
