iPads are a great tool for missionary work...

How are you all doing? How was your week? This picture was taken at the family history center.

So on Friday my companion and I got iPads! I heard that we get to also take them home with us which is awesome! We got the iPad minis and its a 32 gb so I'm excited! They are great unfortunately we can't play games on them lol! They are awesome and a great tool for missionary work! The iPads are so much easier to work with and we can download videos and use that for teaching people so that is really nice!

So my week was pretty good for the most part not a whole lot has happened! Well I hope you all are doing great! Love you!

iPads and Tornadoes... Oh my!

My week was pretty good, we were busy for the most part! My plans for this week is that my companion and I are going to be doing service from Tuesday thru  Thursday and then Friday we have a mission conference in Fort Collins so we have a long drive ahead of us on that day and we have to be there a little before 9am so we have to be up early on that day! The mission conference is going to be a training on the IPad! I do not want one because I don't want to pay for one especially since we wont be able to play angry birds on it lol! I hope its not required for us to get one because I don't want to have to pay for it!

 

Saturday my companion and I have an appointment with Sister Lonsdale and her son, her husband is not a member. The mom is less active and my old companion and I were teaching her son about Jesus Christ because he started asking questions to his mom who Jesus Christ was so we have been teaching her son who is six years old. Ever since we have taught them they have been going to church a lot lately so they are becoming active so yes we have no investigators but we are bringing people back to church and that is pretty important!

 

That is awesome that Erik is coming down, I'm bummed that I'm missing Nate's and Erin's graduation! I was close to the Tornadoes but the tornadoes didn't hit us but it did damage to Torrington Wyoming! It destroyed their power lines and some houses were destroyed as well!

 

Lol no more drunk drivers almost hitting us just that one time! Thank you for the package I wish I got it sooner so then I wouldn't have paid for food lol but I'm well on food now thanks and thank you for my DMV record! I can't believe I have almost been out for a year its crazy it has gone by quick! Love you and miss you guys so much!

Happy Mother's Day!

 

It was awesome to be able to Skype with all of you guys! You guys looked great! It was so nice to be able to talk to you guys it has been awhile! I thought it was incredible that Grandpa no longer has cancer it just shows how much Heavenly Father cares for us and he truly does answer our prayers! How was your week? I just got my new companion and he doesn't seem that bad! So the Jones family the members who let us Skype at their house are my favorite family in the mission they go out of their way to feed us all the time and are the only members in Sidney who actually make an effort to feed us! So I'm not sure what's going to happen this week but hope it goes well take care! Love you and was nice to be able to Skype with you guys again!

Buffalos in Nebraska...

May 4, 2015...

My week was pretty good! Saturday my companion and I helped our investigator out with her garden and we will be helping her again this week and she gave us free tickets to a concert that was played at the high school!  It was an Capella band and they were really good! The name of the band is called Six Appeal and they can sing! They sang some pretty good songs like I will survive, circle of life song from Lion King, and they also sang Happy from Despicable Me 2 and many others as well! My companion and I are helping out with a move at 2pm tomorrow and we have service on Wednesday and Friday! Thursday I have Zone meeting and hopefully I will get the package you sent on that day! Also we find out whether or not if I will be getting transferred on Saturday night, its most likely that I will be staying here for another transfer! So Sunday we talked to the Jones family in my ward and they are letting us Skype with them after Church.  So my church ends at 1pm, 12pm your time and she said we could go over at 2pm so I would plan for maybe 1:30 or 2:30pm your time! Hopefully we can use multiple devices so that my companion and I don't have to wait for each other! I'm sorry about Grandpa mom, its not easy hearing about this. I will continue to keep them in my prayers and I will fast for him too! I hope he will get better soon! Well take care and hope this week goes better for you! Love you!

Going to Cabellas...

April 27, 2015...

Hi! My week was okay nothing really exciting happened at all. I haven't seen any snakes yet so I have been lucky with that! So after emailing we are going to Cabellas in Sidney and we are going to hang out there then we have dinner in Sidney and that will be pretty much the end of my day.  Sidney is an hour away from where we live and we won't get back till like 8:30pm. I'm not sure what we are doing this week we are going to tract starting tomorrow just going door to door. We have a new investigator and we are going to help her cut her branches on Wednesday and after that I'm not too sure! Love you! Take care!

Crunchy Grasshoppers! Yum!

April 20, 2015...

My week was pretty good we found 2 new investigators and we are teaching one of them tomorrow and his name is Gabe! Dinners are getting better as this week the sign up list is all full except for Wednesday! This week not really sure on what we are doing other than teaching Gabe and helping out with service on Wednesday! My companion and I got some pictures also have  a video of us eating a grasshopper it was pretty crunchy haha! So everything is going pretty good getting along with my companion. I'll send some pics love you!
