I'll Go Where You Want Me To Go...

Hey! I love the Briggs family, they are a very nice family and very fun to talk to! It's getting easier to share my testimony. I'm glad that I had my struggles before I came out on my mission because I'm able to tell people my story and I can relate to what people are going through and I feel like I'm more of an effective missionary because of it. It's really helped me a lot especially when I'm teaching members and non members. My week was okay. We did service for a member in the ward and he ended up taking us to Red Robbin right after so that was cool, he is a nice guy!  :)

I'm glad that grandpa is doing better I did fast for him and have been praying for him as well!

Hope you guys are doing great love you!

A Great Spirit to Our Home...

We (mom & dad) received a nice text and this awesome picture! -- "We were grateful to have Elder NeVille in our home tonight. He left a great message about how he chose to serve a mission.  I'm glad my boys were able to hear his testimony.  He brought a great spirit to our home. Love, Bishop Briggs and Family."
~
So Thursday we had Zone Conference in Loveland so after Zone Conference we visited the member that house us and talked to him for a little bit. After that we visited the Mansel family and their eight year old kid was so happy to see me. I told him that I played in the NFL and he was so super interested to know more about it and his mom told me that she had no idea he was into football until I told him about this. (he knows I was kidding) Anyways, I talked to him on Thursday and he told me he starts football in August and before I told him about me playing in the NFL he didn't seem interested to play football so I might have gotten him into it! Ha ha!  Love you!

The Blazin Challenge...

The Blazin Challenge was hard! They changed the sauce to make it hotter as it used to be just blazin sauce but they changed it to blazin ghost pepper!  It was hot! So before I did it the workers told me that the sauce is hotter but it taste better than it did before, Alex the member I live with told me that he just did the regular blazin and it had no taste.  This had taste and even though it was hot I did like the taste of it. So I had 6 minutes to eat 12 wings poured in blazin ghost pepper sauce and if I completed the challenge I would get a free t-shirt saying Blazin Challenge Survivor and my picture would get taken and they would show it on the wall! So I did the challenge and I completed it in 5 minutes and 30 seconds so I did it and it was not easy  but I got a free shirt! I couldn't believe I did it! I was actually making good time I was at like 3 and a half minutes when I got to just 2 wings left but my mouth was full so I had to stop a little bit to get it down my throat. I had a pretty fun bathroom experience the next morning haha!

My week was pretty good!  My companion and I didn't have a dinner on Saturday and ended up going out to eat and one of the workers came up to us asking if we are Mormons and she asked about the Church. So we asked if she would be interested in learning more and she said yes! So we gave her our number and it was awesome!

It's kind of getting warmer here it's in the 40s to 50s. So that is nice haha! I kind of miss the heat but at the same time I kind of don't! Spring break doesn't start here till the 19th! I'm jealous I want to go on another cruise it's always so much fun! I can't believe that Ammon and Brendan are both reffing and I can't believe they didn't get any complaints! Ha ha!Oh my gosh I totally forgot that the Theater was opening in the spring of this year that is awesome! It will be nice not having to drive 20 minutes every time you want to go and I didn't know Dairy Queen was even coming to Queen Creek that is awesome! Take care! Love you!

Heavenly Father answers our prayers...

This pic was at a members house in Firestone, Colorado.
My week went pretty good for the most part so Monday night I said a prayer to Heavenly Father asking to help me get through my fast the next day and well I got sick and my stomach was killing me. I couldn't sleep and then waking up at 2 am and not being able to go back to sleep was not fun.  So my companion and I just stayed home all day and my stomach hurt so bad that I didn't want to eat anything it wasn't exactly the way I wanted to feel but Heavenly Father answered my prayer and helped me get through the fast! Heavenly Father might not answer our prayers the way we want him to but he does answer our prayers! Right now I am reading Doctrine and Covenants and found this scripture and it is my new favorite scripture it's D&C 93:49.  It says "What I say unto one, I say unto all pray always lest that wicked one have power in you and remove you out of your place." If we always pray we can beat Satan and Heavenly Father will help us if we turn to him and together we will beat Satan! This was the highlight of my week was when I was fasting on Tuesday and got sick and nothing exciting really happened other than that! Well tomorrow we are going to visit Fran who I contacted from the senior center and we are going to see if she will want to take the lessons we were suppose to meet her last Tuesday but I was sick! Our investigator Kendra told us she can no longer take lessons anymore due to her schedule so we aren't really teaching anyone at this moment just been working on bringing less actives back to Church! Friday, Alex, the member we live with, wants to do the Blazin Challenge with me at Buffalo Wild Wings so that will be interesting. I will have my companion take a video of me while I'm doing that! Other than that that's what we have going on for this week as we don't have any set appointments so we are just going to stop by less actives houses!
Well I hope Grandpas surgery goes well I will pray for him as well! I'm glad that things are going better for you Mom! Love you!
